You must plan your day properly if you want to maximize the visit to the flea market. Do not take for granted that any dress would do at the flea markets. Bring along a cart or trolley. You cannot discount bringing along a bag or a trolley for carrying items purchased.
Wearing good walking shoes is important to avoid ending your day because of aching feet. Psychologically it would help to eliminate fatigue if you start to walk to the end of the vendors and then make your way forward. You will have a wider choice of new products if you start at the back. Though flea markets are usually offered on weekends, some do take place on weekdays as well. The diminishing number of visitors during the week leads to the correspondingly less number of vendors. Getting the best price deal is always a roll of the dice at flea markets. It is possible to ask for a lower price than what the vendor is offering.
If you want the best stuff, arrive early. If there are specific items you have in mind, this would be the best strategy. You need to be prepared to pay a higher price for it.
This is different towards the end of the day, where vendors will be anxious to sell off any remaining items they have, even for a lower fee. Vendors prefer to travel home light but with a pocket full of money from the day’s work. Sometimes it is good to wait at the end of the day to get a lower price. Someone else might purchase it before you during the day.
You can always find a way to negotiate better prices. Ask the vendor the lowest price they will take. You can mention a price upfront and see if they will accept it. This is a very effective way to close any deal!
