It is believed that the chef cloths originated in the start of the 20th century. Though the Original year of commencement of these dresses is not really known to any one. Most probably it is believed that the chef cloths got their existence from countries like Iran and Iraq.

At the early stages only chef hats was the only part of the chef uniform. However, the shape and size of the chef hats has changed a lot from past till the present. The most obvious thing is that the chefs are stilly wearing their hats regularly in order to save the mixing of their hairs with the dish which is being prepared by them.

These days the uniform of the chefs is very important. Chef uniform is considered to be the most vital part of their job. Though there are no precise regulations or rules regarding the style of their cloths. The design and the style of the chef’s pants, hats or aprons may vary from person to person. The chefs can choice their uniform according to their comfort and sizes.

The kitchen is considered to be the hottest place, so in order to save the chefs from the heat of the stove they wear double fabric jacket. Most of the chefs do prefer dark color outfits rather than light colored ones because in dark colored cloths splits of oils and food stuff are not easily visible. It is also very important to choice a proper shoes for the chefs.
