Planning for your visit to the flea market will leave you an insignificant margin of error to make your visit a most fruitful one. Find out in advance what you may need outdoors as well as indoors. A bag or a trolley is very handy if you intend to purchase a substantial amount of items at the flea market. You cannot discount bringing along a bag or a trolley for carrying items purchased.
Do not forget to wear good walking shoes if you do not want to end your buying spree early. Psychologically it would help to eliminate fatigue if you start to walk to the end of the vendors and then make your way forward. Those starting at the entrance will be involved in a scramble for choice products. In some locations flea markets are offered on weekends but in areas where the demand is high, we find flea markets even on weekdays. The number of vendors gets less during the week in response to the diminishing number of visitors. Many unforeseen factors may come up during the day that even vendors are at sea as to when is the ripe time to offer a price deal. The nice thing about flea markets is, you get to bargain for the lowest price.
If you arrive early in the morning, you can select from the best goods before anyone else have a chance. This is the best way to approach the day if you have a list of thing sin mind. The trade off is, vendors are reluctant to lower prices early in the morning, so be prepared to pay a higher price.
The best bargains occurs when the end is about to end, when vendors are anxious to let go any remaining items they may have. They prefer to go home with as less merchandise as possible. If you wish for lower prices try bargaining at the end of the day. Someone else might purchase it before you during the day.
Try negotiating for the lowest price. Ask what would be the lowest price they would take for the item. Mention a price and see if they are willing to accept it. It is good if you hold the money in your hand when bargaining, they often find it hard to let you walk away without taking it away from you at the price you had asked.
